We partnered with #COVIDActionCollab, part of the Catalyst Group, which is a collaborative of a diverse set of organisations representing the civil society, private sector, social enterprises, public sector, academics and others – who believe that by pooling expertise and resources, the collaborative can address the problems of COVID-19 effectively. The collaborative, ideated by the Catalyst Group, is a social impact platform with significant experience in social and economic development as well as humanitarian emergencies.
As part of the #COVIDActionCollab, we worked to address challenges that affect the most vulnerable groups, such as rural and urban poor, female sex workers, transgendered people, small and marginal farmers, migrants, blue-collared workers, persons with disabilities, etc., who are disproportionately affected by the pandemic. We contributed significantly through our work to the vision of CAC to enable vulnerable groups to survive and thrive during humanitarian crises (like COVID).
